    The salary range for this position is from $75,000 to $85,000 per year.
    (Full-Time, Exempt position)
    I. Job Summary:
     
    The “DC Connectivity Product Operations Specialist” is responsible for supporting Connectivity Products for data center projects excluding Hyperscale customers. This position is responsible for quotation preparation, part number (PN) registration and maintenance, product documentation management, delivery coordination with contract manufacturers (CMs), and logistics management to ensure products are delivered to customers on schedule.
    The role works closely with customers, contract manufacturers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to provide accurate product information, coordinate production and shipment schedules, and maintain effective communication throughout the order fulfillment process. 

    II. Duties/Responsibilities:

    1.)    Product Quotation and Documentation
    •    Prepare quotations for Connectivity Products supporting non-Hyperscale data center projects.
    •    Create and maintain product cost estimates based on customer requirements.
    •    Prepare product cut sheets and technical documentation.
    •    Ensure quotation accuracy and timely response to customer requests.

    2.)    Part Number (PN) Registration and Product Data Management
    •    Register new part numbers and maintain existing product master data.
    •    Manage product information and documentation within internal systems.
    •    Coordinate with engineering, sales, and product management to ensure data accuracy.
    •    Maintain revision history and documentation consistency.

    3.)    Production and Delivery Coordination
    •    Coordinate production schedules and delivery timelines with Contract Manufacturers (CMs).
    •    Monitor manufacturing progress and proactively identify potential delivery risks.

    •    Work closely with logistics providers to ensure on-time shipment.
    •    Support resolution of production or supply chain issues affecting customer deliveries.

    4.)    Logistics and Shipment Management
    •    Track shipment status from production through final customer delivery.
    •    Coordinate delivery schedules with internal departments and external partners.
    •    Provide timely shipment updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
    •    Escalate delivery delays and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.

    5.)    Customer and Internal Communication
    •    Serve as the primary point of contact regarding order status and delivery information.
    •    Communicate schedule changes, shipment updates, and delivery risks to customers.
    •    Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
    •    Ensure timely sharing of critical information among all stakeholders.

    6.)    Continuous Process Improvement
    •    Identify opportunities to improve quotation, documentation, and logistics processes.
    •    Support implementation of process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
    •    Participate in projects related to product data management and supply chain optimization.

    7.)    Reporting
    •    Prepare reports related to quotations, delivery performance, order status, and logistics activities.
    •    Support management with administrative reports and KPI tracking as requested.

     III. Marginal Functions
    • Support occasional matters as directed.
    IV. Required Skills/Abilities:

     •    Basic understanding of fiber optic connectivity products, structured cabling, and data center infrastructure.
    •    Experience preparing quotations and managing product documentation.
    •    Knowledge of product master data and part number management.
    •    Strong organizational and coordination skills.
    •    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    •    Ability to coordinate with customers, Contract Manufacturers (CMs), logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.
    •    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    •    Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    •    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
    •    Experience with ERP systems (D365, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) is preferred.
    •    Knowledge of international shipping and logistics processes is preferred.
    •    Ability to proactively identify delivery risks and coordinate mitigation plans.
    •    Ability to communicate effectively in Japanese is preferred.

      V. Education and Experience:

       •    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
      •    Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Product Management, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Logistics, or related fields.
      •    Experience supporting data center connectivity products or telecommunications products is preferred.

      VI. Position in Organization:

      Reports to: Director, DC Connectivity Product Management
      Directly Supervises: None

      VII. Physical Requirements:
      • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the physical and motor skills typical of an office environment, including, but not limited to: prolonged sitting, working on a computer, using telephones, handheld technology and other office equipment, standing, walking and stooping.
      • May be occasionally required to lift objects such as files, boxes of paper, office supplies, and computer / office equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
      • Ability to routinely concentrate, focus and read for general understanding and analytical purposes and ability to communicate effectively.
